| الملخص: | This module suggests that teachers require a full array of teaching strategies; both learner-centred and teacher-centred. The critical point is that these methods be used in a learning-centred way. This module aims to develop the skills required to teach in a thoughtful and learning-centred manner. It begins by exploring good planning, and demonstrates how to use a greater variety of assessment strategies; understand how learning occurs, and use this understanding; use a variety of whole class and small group teaching methods; manage classrooms thoughtfully and decisively; and extend schooling beyond formal teaching. It ends by dealing with ongoing professional development. The module is a companion module of Using Media in Teaching |
