People with disabilities in general and children with disabilities in particular
are subjects that need special attention in social work because they are always
physically and mentally disadvantaged and are often stigmatized and
marginalized. The article focuses on understanding the current ssituation of
educational activities with children with disabilities, analyzing the factors
affecting the effectiveness of educational activities and proposing some
solutions to improve the quality of educational activities with children with
disabilities from a social work approach at social institutions in Da Lat city,
Lam Dong province. Educational activities of social work with children with
disabilities bring meaning to the children themselves, their families and the
community. Helping children wake up their potential, promote the instincts
inherent in a person, the desire to live, gain attention, love people around
them, help them become more confident and no longer a burden of family
and community. |
